The JMEF Centrifugal Sifter (commonly known in India as Centrifugal Shivar or Rotary Sieve) is a high-capacity screening machine designed for de-lumping, scalping, and classification of powders with high moisture, static charge, or agglomerated characteristics that blind ordinary vibrating screens.
Material is fed horizontally into the cylindrical screen basket by a feed screw. High-speed rotating helical paddle blades accelerate the particles against the stationary cylindrical screen. Centrifugal force pushes acceptable fine particles through the mesh, while oversize lumps and foreign matter travel to the end discharge chute.
